Oh, let me assure you, i am totally passed interest in Meyers' book or any debate that will ensue for already know that outcome, common descent will remain unfazed & Meyers is already shown to have omitted great gaps in his biased research. It leaves only one real dilemma which is the great mystery of abiogenesis, the big deal of all. But yes relativity is of vital importance, correct timelines & timeframes are very important , such as the myth of Moses or that we prolly find that the Jews themselves were not much more than a splinter off the larger Canaanite group , which is so ironic. The irony being that so much liberty & justification was taken as a message from those mighty battles of the 'chosen ones" return to their land led by mighty Moses, that divine right justfication that has seen the murders of so many. And all because of a myth? Then we find it was all pure fantasy, now pretty much universally accepted as such. Relativity figures much into the world of believers when we see it exposed as pure fictional myths , which were used for much human injury & domination, which i already pointed to the 70mil or so deaths in religious wars since 2000yrs ago.
