Miners still stink. My FAS is up 4% and GDX negative now. With GS downgrading POG yesterday to 1300, maybe the bounce will be squashed.

seekingalpha.com some good observations . the perception is QE will be tapered and eventually stopped. I will believe that when I see it actually happen but until then gold will be under pressure. QE I was supposed to be it then we had QE II , operation twist , QE III and QE III with open ended duration. Even now QE tapering is contingent upon reaching certain thresholds which are not automatic triggers. The FED's tactic will be to move the goal post further down the road as we approach it. Once the FED really and truly tapers QE and they see how much the stock & bond markets decline I think QE will be expanded.
