Thanks for the update. You made some good points Also, I was not aware that RDRT had been producing GMR since late 96. I was under the impression that IBM just agreed to license their patents to this technology last month. I have been following WDC's MR progress. In fact, I am planning on buying one of their MR drives next week. Based on what I saw for the storage capabilities on new computers I checked out this week, they are probably wise to kill their 1.7 program now. i STILL believe all of this has pretty well been factored into the current price of APM stock.
