>> That's the problem.........Deen doesn't use it in moderation:

I've eaten in some of her restaurants and there are no different from any other when it comes to butter. If you take any of the Food Network shows, the ingredients they use can be fairly extreme.

If you eat in Deen's, or Bobby Flay's, Smith & Wollensky or Emerils, it just doesn't matter -- these places all use butter extensively. That is the nature of the business. People go to restaurants for great food and butter is an essential ingredient in just about everything served -- whether it is steak or donuts. That is why they all have long lines.

As to your link, there are plenty that contradict it. After eating margarine for years we made the determination, based on all available information, it is no better than butter, and probably worse. You can choose margarine if you want to.

Mob: "Burn the witch"

Political correctness has become the modern platform for dictates of the mob. Bolstered by the media its also become the vehicle of social demolition, destruction of free speech and personal choice.

"For every democracy which has enjoyed prosperity for a considerable period first develops through its nature an attitude of discontent towards the existing order,.." Polybius (c. 200-118 BC)
If the biggest proponents weren't such hypocritical spoilt children it wouldn't work at all.

'Burn the witch' now, 'kill the beasties' next.
