Exactly and remember when Obama was whispering sweet nothings into Putin's ears?

<Europe cannot defy Russia or their natural gas will get shut off. Russia can take Snowden and Obama can bluster, but in the end he huffs and puffs yet cannot blow the Russian house down.>

I love the "conspiracy theory" clause which appears to have disintegrated with the Snowden case..

Oh! How many times has some "conspiracy theory" emerged... Like.. "Hey the NSA is illegally spying on its citizens", or.. " The NSA is spying on the leaders of its allies".

The response is often the same... and it goes something like this....

"Well, If this was really true, and the NSA was "really" doing this.... "Don't you think someone would have leaked this??" I mean there are tens of thousands of people that would be aware of this and some one would have talked. Don't ya think???"

Which on its face seems logical.

Well, here were are and tens of thousands of people WERE AWARE of this was going on for years, and none of them squealed. Until recently by Snowden. So this sort discounting by the US Govt. that a "conspiracy theory" should be discounted by the masses because after all, "someone would have leaked it", can be largely ignored.

Obviously the price that one would pay is so oppressive that tens of thousands take the secrets to their grave.

The US must show it's employees and contractors that. If you squeal... "There is no place to hide". The US Arm of "Justice" transcends international boarders and international law, and if we have to bring down a jetliner carrying a "Head of State" on a diplomatic mission over foreign soil. We will do so in order to muzzle our employees/citizens.
