Re : HMSC

No good reason that anyone has figured out yet Carl.
Geigartt mentioned a delayed reaction to the press
release announcing Jill Eikenberry as a spokesperson
but even that is for early detection and not HMSC.
My thinking is that it's just anticipation that the
product is supposed to actually be manufactured this
month.
In any event , I shorted at $11 , and sold off a long
position yesterday in another stock to add to my HMSC
short should it bubble up more this week.

Carl,

<<BTW, took my profits on SHVA and BBTK. One thing nice about these broken stocks, a low price lets you short a lot of shares and a point or so drop is worth taking>>

That's certainly true, but a point rise can mean big losses. As for myself, I like to trade as a percentage to the overall portfolio in round lots. That way, I'm somewhat protected from having my entire portfolio wipe out from a buyout or some unforseen event.

I always keep in mind my reasons for shorting is to hedge my long portfiolio and to better use my margin capital.

Good luck scalping.

As for HMSC, No change with the exception of a product rollout in December.

I have successfully shorted HMSC on 3 different occassions at
12 1/2..10 1/4 and 11 1/2. This seems to be a good price entry
based on the past performance. If I can borrow shares...I'll
do it again. I'm hoping that one of these tries will be the one that
finally brings this dog down to the terminal short that it belongs.

Carl, SHVA broke its downward trend line, so I covered at a small loss. HMSC might be up due to expectations of a product release in December. You might call the co. and see if they are still planning to release the product this month, as they had earlier indicted in a news release.
