Around 340 would put AAPL near Microsoft's market cap, and if you factor in cash levels for both, Mr. Softie would be valued quite a bit higher than AAPL... MSFT's market cap is currently around 290B, with about 74B in cash and 15B in debt...

John

Moonray's graph and Henry's reading seems to indicate 340 to 360.

Doren, I give very little credence to the Preliminary Price Objective showing on the P&F charts
that I post. Very seldom do they turn out to be "predictable" turning points. They are formed by the
"explosiveness" of the graph as it is formed. You can think of it as the price the "X" or "O" would coast
to, if future forces did not come in to play. However, for 50 years I've used the P&F charts in conjunction
with other things because the charts are pretty good at showing support and resistance areas.

I am no longer looking for an inverted head-and-shoulders pattern on AAPL. My feeling is that the time
for it came and went when we recently failed to hold $420:

o~~~ O

Moonray's graph and Henry's reading seems to indicate 340 to 360. If we end up with an inverted head and shoulders that would seem about right as a head would have to be lower than this "shoulder" That also implies we would suffer another dip after this next low.
Aigh.... but my palm-reader is saying 320 and my astrologist is saying 380. I'm so confused which "woo" to believe in! I'm starting to think that with plummeting sales forecasts, employee attrition, the stigma the devices now carry, and impending price/margin cuts, that declining profits might actually be a better justification to think a fair valuation is below 300... but it wouldn't be as fun to ignore all the magic!
