GOOD CREAF, HEX, have you lost your mind? Out of all of ML's holding, I would think CREAF would be a stock they would want to hold on to!

HEXonX, I think that ML made the decision to reduce holdings of all Asian stocks for the time being until things become a little clearer. As CREAF is an Asian-based Company, they sold it.... I do not think that ML "knows" something that everyone else does not. They just decided to play it safe and unload before the Annual Meeting. If they held all year, then they likely still tripled their money and probably wanted to protect these gains....

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Maybe someone else needs money?

RSSF,Robertsons Stevens has spent the greater percentage at the the ask and has been trailing the ask down during the daily selloffs. Now MLCO has been in there too, but they haven't been hammerring the order entry key as fast. When RSSF has held a sustained best ask for awhile and then have been filled and removed, then there is an instant little slingshot upwards for 1/2 point or so, until the cycle reinstates. It seems to have started from what I recall in about the 24 1/2 range. When they RSSF & MLCO stop selling, there should be a 3-4 point pop IMO. They've teased a little on the bid side, but have taken back hardly any volume at this point from what I've glanced at on level II. Now GSCO that was dumping Chay or NG's shares this spring and summer, hasn't been very active. Maybe they switched brokers? I mean you could what if for along time on what is going on.

It seems Douglas put out some realistic conservative numbers in one of his recent posts. I just wonder what the trend on average unit price is? If there is a 15% growth rate then that's great, as long as the per unit pricing isn't taking a 30% yearly hit like the H.D. and memory vendors. DVD could help raise that figure when volume takes off, but you know, they'll be selling for sub $200 in a year IMO.
