Margaret:

The following message was given to me by a friend
1: Short interest in Intel Corp has increased by 4.2 mil shares to 36.6 mill shares. Short sellers are hoping that the company's earnings will be restrained. Bill Fleckenstein of Fleckenstein Capital hopes that INTC will bottom out to $60.00 per share. He is understood to have said that INTEL was late in understanding the importance of $1000 PC trend.
2:Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Loewenbaum & Co. In Austin Texas commented, it seems, that , "you do not want to short a low-expectation stock". Ashok feels that the Intel performance won't be stellar in 1998, but will bounce back in 1999.

We must be gluttons for bad news

Paul

Good Morning Margaret,

I think this is the day that is supposed to live in infamy. Thank goodness that we are not at war but instead enjoy a bounty of good things.

Thank you for your e-mial and it was nice to catch up on some long needed sleep.

Hope you will have a nice Sunday
Frank
