Sure they stamped out the pluarity of Gods & Goddesses , then look what happens later, they are still stamping each other out in brutal civil wars 500yrs later where 100's of 1000's are slaughtered Jew on Jew. And your God stood still doing nothing once again, even when his son gets strung up but he was so active sending plagues & floods earlier then all of a sudden, presto, nothing. It was all scribed in fantasies, obviously. You think it was by some divine agency that men started getting tired of all the blood letting & wars everywhere , constant conflicts & fear as they emerged finally well into the iron age civilizations & cultures ...and for the jews killing each other over the most dumbest beliefs & moronic rituals & sacrifices? What do we see here, starts dawning in most all wise mens consciousness around 500bc , Alexander had a dream to unite the world & almost did, Jesus spoke of the heart & spirit, well he wasn't the first to tread there by a long shot, he was very late to the party.
