As to gay marriage, the only laws worthy of a civilised people are laws that prevent people from harming one another. It is idiotic and arrogant to intrude on the lives of people who happen to be different than you. If you were gay (and we do not know that you are not)--no civilised people would have ill will toward you on that count. Superstitious people (on the other hand) are not rational, so their actions can only be predicted if you know the dogma that fuels their mindless acts.

Brumar, did you ever hear the saying about treating others as you would like to be treated?

THAT'S what I "try" to live by.

I ALWAYS try to treat others with the kindness and respect that I would hope to get from them.

My Wife's a pretty devout Catholic. I respect her beliefs and I respect her as a person. You DO think Catholics are Christian don't you?
