Interestingly, it was MARTIN that died for "standing his ground".

>> .if he is found innocent or not.

Got it. So, the court isn't what determines whether it was murder or self-defense.

Tejek is.

>> Some of Mr. Good's testimony conflicts with that of the other witnesses and can't be and won't be the final word.

Good's testimony was highly credible. In fact, I've seen a lot of these televised trials and I don't know when I've seen a more credible witness.

I don't know which "other witnesses" you're talking about but the only other one I know of was shown to be a liar on the stand. She admitted she lied.

If the prosecution put its best witnesses on first, this trial is over.

What I know is that Mr. Zimmerman murdered an innocent teen because he was a vigilante and cop wannabe who was on a Walter Mitty mission to keep his apt complex safe and to be a hero.
Eye witness testimony in court, by the prosecution witnesses, show that Martin attacked Zimmerman, as is evident by the significant injuries Zimmerman suffered during Martin's attack!

Plus.... regardless of whatever reason Zimmerman was there that night, he was 100% legal and in his rights to be there. Zimmerman violated no law, and he did not threaten Martin. According to all accounts Martin maliciously assaulted Zimmerman. Martin was in the wrong and he paid the price for his violent attack against an innocent man.

I also know that had Martin been blond haired and blue eyes, he would be alive today.
And... you base this on what? It could also be implied that if Zimmerman had not been Hispanic or white, Martin would not have attacked him.

I will guarantee you that Neighborhood Watch volunteers are interested in watching for ANY suspicious activity by any race, religion or nationality, that is prowling around their neighborhood, especially at night.

You feel that Neighborhood Watch cares only about crimes committed by non-white criminals? Why is that?

Furthermore, Martin's death is a direct result of that stupid law that FL and so many other red states have passed. Its encouraging vigilantism and general craziness.
I live in Florida and I love the Stand Your Ground law. And.... I will not hesitate to use one of my weapons to protect my home and family from those who could do us harm.

I feel much safer being able to protect my family and my home and being less vulnerable. If you want to be less able to defend yourself and your home, that is your choice. That is what makes this a great country.... choice!

The fourth point rolls from the third. Zimmerman was not the aggressor in any coherent sense, and it is absurd for people to assert Trayvon had a right to “defend himself” because Zimmerman attempted to follow him. Following someone in public is no crime (stalking laws and restraining orders aside; we’re talking about thissituation), and Trayvon had no legal right to assault Zimmerman, or vice versa. They could have had a verbal exchange at this point, and had they done so like civilized human beings, Zimmerman would have found out that this was a false alarm, there was no harm done, and both men might still be alive today. But that isn’t what happened. At the end of the three-part verbal exchange described by Mora and Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin apparently decided to punctuate his second statement to Zimmerman and things quickly went downhill into a the fight John Good saw feet away, with Trayvon Martin straddling George Zimmerman from an “MMA-style” mount in what fighters and fight fans know as “ground and pound.”

It’s brutal even in a guard position like the following Cheick Kongo vs. Mustapha Al-Turk fight… and keep in mind that Trayvon Martin wasn’t in Zimmerman’s guard, he was in a full mount, “straddling” Zimmerman with much more leverage, where Zimmerman had almost no defense, and no referee to stop the fight and save his life. Eyewitness John Good said the fight was on the concrete sidewalk. He said he heard George Zimmerman cry for help. Good even yelled at Martin to stop his attack, that he was calling 911.

But Trayvon Martin did not stop his attack. Trayvon Martin kept pounding George Zimmerman’s head on concrete in what was an assault with an deadly weapon. Pummeled relentlessly, with no one coming to his aid despite repeated calls for help, what should George Zimmerman do?

Allow Trayvon Martin to beat him unconscious?

To Trayvon Martin to beat him to death?
