The testimony of the PA was that the nose was "likely broken" and that the bruising and swelling were consistent with that of a broken nose. While I don't recall her testimony on it, I can guarantee you there would have been x-rays had Zimmerman not declined it.

There was also evidence of a significant hematoma on one side of his head.
