Machaon, Are you saying that, if you feel like someone is following you at night you have the right to attack them, break their nose and pound their head into the pavement, like Martin did to Zimmerman? Only if you're a black kid being followed by a white guy. Or in this case, a "white Hispanic." It's unreasonable for the black kid to call the cops because the cops are all white and therefore will not treat the black kid's call seriously. Black people have every excuse to act like punks and badasses. It's all the white man's fault. Sincerely, Tenchu-jek

If Zimmerman played cop he'd have blown him away from 10 ft and claimed self defense. No trial.

Not one eye witness has said Martin attacked Zimmerman.......not a one. Martin had no injuries, other than the gunshot. He certainly wasn't being attacked. Only Zimmerman showed injuries symptomatic of a brutal attack! Stop with the brutal attack..........you weren't there and Zimmerman's injuries do not suggest it was brutal. Martin's, on the hand, do. Are you saying that Zimmerman bashed his own head and broke his own nose?! Don't know. Wasn't there. Could have slipped and fell while chasing Martin. "Neighbor Jonathan Good said that it looked like the person on top was straddling the person on bottom in a mixed-martial arts move known as “ground and pound.” When defense attorney Mark O’Mara asked him if the person on top was Martin, Good said, “Correct, that’s what it looked like.” Good also said the person on the bottom yelled for help." Except it was Zimmerman who knew MMA. When you follow someone in the dark with no justification, that is threatening. If one feels one's life is threatened and one's adrenalin is pumping due to the fight or flight physiological response, anything is possible. That is one of the reasons why 911 and neighborhood watch officials tell people not to follow the person they suspect of criminal activity. However, that advice wasn't good enough for Zimmerman who desperately wanted to be a hero. Because Zimmerman was a profiler. Nearly of all his 911 calls were about young black males. Do you know the ratio between black male prowlers and non-black male prowlers during Zimmerman's watch? It doesn't matter all that much.............Zimmerman lived in a mixed race community but consistently profiled only young, black males. On that horrific nite, Mr. Zimmerman decided to play cop Zimmerman broke no law and did not physically threaten Martin. While Zimmerman may have played cop, Martin certainly played thug! Excuse me but he murdered an innocent teenager. He broke the law.......we just don't know how badly. And what choice did Martin the nite he died? Martin could have chosen to act more civilized and not attack an innocent, non-threatening neighborhood watch volunteer. No one forced Martin to act the way he did. Martin's poor choice and poor behavior resulted in his death. Uh..........Zimmerman was threatening..........he was following Martin and then ran after him when Martin began running in fear.
