Mr. Zimmerman made assumptions about Mr. Martin based on his age, and race and not what he was doing. Mr. Zimmerman, an adult athletic male, outweighed Mr. Martin, a scrawny still developing teen, by at least 40 lbs. Mr. Zimmerman was armed with a gun and had the advantage. Mr. Martin was unarmed. Mr. Zimmerman's injuries are minor and not life threatening........they certainly did not warrant using a gun.
