<<<<<<) Price ,telecos and satelites can't come close to @home ...........you are bullish indeed ..........who are the main competitors and why is @home likely to succeed above other services? .......just curious--missed ipo--heavily invested in checkfree, earthlink, cisco, lucent intu, etc. i want to invest in the net and have heard that @home has good long term prospects. but i like to know who are the main competitors. .......thanks

Bob: in your reply: 1) is true, but isn't likely to stay that way 2) is not true--we've had this discussion in many past posts, 3) is irrelevant to @home--any MSO with 2-way HFC can provide this without @home, and planned to provide this before @home even existed, 4)time to market? nationwide 2-way HFC opens up the market, 5)agree! This is THE BIGGIE. All that's needed is ONE biggie. @work,media,school (in an indirect way)and @whatever else they come up with are the keys. dh
