Who knows if the metals might even trade lower overnight since it already had such an initial run up...
A hopefully short-lived pullback would not be a surprise overnight or Monday. Especially since Asian PM trading is very volatile! OTOH, it could be volatile on the upside! :)

I am concerned that Friday's significant move up was a result of a "temporary" short squeeze. I wonder what would happen Monday, if the reasons for the squeeze would no longer a factor? (If indeed it was a short squeeze Friday?).

Am I making any sense?

Re: " this would leave the 1200 level behind and never to be seen again... hey, I can dream, can't I? LOL!!!"

Yes you can dream and yes GOLD is going to bounce.

BUT sorry 1220 is not a memory yet, will be revisited and GOLD is going lower.

How do I know? The same way I knew 1220 was a safe number.

Enjoy the bounce but it's just a bounce that will fail. Gold will go under 1220 again.

IMHO
