Bateman only means this if you are blonde and like strip club cologne and several other strange things (as per his profile). In investing, however, he is strictly a follower of consensually validated insanities and with respect to violence seems most impressed with the most effective and historically widespread kind, ie institutional.

Institutional help: ya, I have an MBA in international business with part of it done in Asia, been there, done that. Institutional help because I suggested going long on DLJ, MTSI and ROK a few weeks ago before they had their nice runup? and my posts on looking for undervalued smallcaps and REITS near book value? I'm not a permabear and still hold a large 401K long position, I'm just not willing to pay 10 times book for stocks, and I know what fear is lurking in those balance sheets. History repeats itself. If you want to buy into this mania I have swampland in Florida I'll sell you for a few million bucks.
I am bearish on dow and S&P. I am bullish on smallcaps, ADRS, mining/garbage dumps and REITS as long as interest rates stay low and I can see something like 1.X book, good growth and yield on the balance sheet. It's neurotic to care about book value, I know, but it's one of those things that comes with institutional help. -eom-
