I cancel my two company cards and one personal card every year. Not only are governments watching so are thieves. One company card generously purchased a Honda motorcycle for someone last year in Mexico. I commend Visa for promptly dealing with fraudulent use of credit cards. The worst on our list is Shell who let $1200 in fraudulent purchases go through prior to canceling the card and then threatened us with collection action if we did not take care of the bill. We took care of the bill and 14 months later Shell sent us a refund. Watch your statements jealously and report fraud immediately.
