Jack--I want to apologize to everyone who reads this thread EXCEPT TCLN mgmt. What set me off was a couple of calls from people who talk directly to TCLN's officers. Its funny to see this mgmt team cast about for ways to "stop the leaks"--does that remind you of Nixon who comes from a place very close to Tustin, and remember what happened to Nixon because of it--when they are the source of the leaks.

It seems that Lon has decided he is the guy to lead the compny into the 21st century and is actively trying to find a way to block the new CEO. I would tell Stone what I posted here but in 1992 I told him a few things he didn't want to hear and he hasn't spoken to me since. That's Lon. Petty, vindictive, and venal.

These guys, Lon, Rudy, and Bix blame everything on someone else and will not accept responsibility for what goes wrong. I ask you Jack, and other readers of this thread Who choose the two partners for LYM-1? Not me or you!! Whose job was it to raise funds to move these projects forward? Not me or you!! But mgmt wants to always point out that they had no money, or the delays were the partners fault, or something or another. They never take responsibility for their mistakes and always blame someone else

This is all about mgmt, and TCLN's mgmt has proven time and again they are not the people for the job. Like giving jobs in the PR department to the daughter of a girlfriend, or someone with no hard, hands on PR experience. People who can't answer shareholders or brokers questions, and don't return phone calls. Or worse yet directly lie. Or failing to hire competent architects and designers the first time and having to constantly rebuild your main facility. I'll say it agin, its all about management, stupid. Or maybe its all about stupid management.

Anyway the point of my tirade was simply to make perfectly clear to this management that they will face servere economonic consequences if they don't appoint a new CEO. Stone will face hugh margin calls as the price of the stock plummets, and of course it will go down further as the brokers sell his stock. He'll be ruined financially and professionally, and it will be his own doing. Its a pity the shareholders will have to suffer too, but we can buy back the stock at $0.50 or cheaper.

Lets move past this. If I have to write this stuff again its going to be after I've sold my stock.

Jack, this is what I know. The CEO search is being conducted by Jennifer Lobo, and two outside directors, Legere and Santoro. I believe that the field has been narrowed to two or three candidates who will be presented to, and voted on by the full board when they meet next. I hope Legere, Santoro, and Lippman can agree prior to the meeting who the strongest candidate is. Then they only have to convince one of the other three directors that their choice is the best. It would be nice if for the sake of unity if they can unanomously agree on the same candidate. But I've heard someone is actively trying to find a way to block this appointment. Remember, candidates for CEO can be presented to the board and they can fail to act on it.

You should keep in mind that if they do pick a CEO, or rather when they do--I can't believe Stone would be so stupid as to not understand what I've made very clear here--we are not going to hear a name immediately. That's because the new CEO will need time to inform the Board of his present employer first. Like notifying next of kin after a fatal accident.

Jack, and alll...I truly belive that this will all work out for the best, before we see the tragic consequences I've outlined if mgmt fails to do its duty. The science in this company is unbelievably fatastic. Epstein one day wins a Noble Prize for his pioneering work in humane cancer therapies. If TNT works, if VTA makes it out of animal testing and into human trials we'll we'll laugh about these times as our stock reachs into the 3rd figure on the left of the decimal point.

I'm just going to kick back and relax alittle. I think everything will be just fine.
