<<I am right here as usual but I haven't used the Momentum21 day yet. Why did you pick 21 days instead of the 12 days as is already programed into WOW system as default? >>

I want to thank all who post on this board for the great information and insights.

What is Momentum21 and the WOW system?? An online program...a purchased program...or a personal one?? SOunds interesting and I'd love to find our more about it.

Thanks.

Marlin, a lot of players key around the 21 day, and you are right the trend seems to be set giving it that period of time.....If you set the momentum indicator at a lower level, it gives many false signals as it flutters above and below the zero line...I think I misspoke myself on the derivative, the moving average, according to Bernstein it should be set at an 18 period, not a 21 period, with the Momentum indicator set at a 21 period.......These settings help to alleviate many false signals.....

I also like to use the momentum indicator with other derivatives, and
watch for crossovers of the two....You can use RSI, Stochastics, or Rate of Change as alternative derivatives.....

Take care, got to run to hospital......Mark
