I hope so. Some people are saying the defense shouldn't bother offering a defense. I don't agree and not just because of the need to counter the pet ME's testimony from photographs. Haven't seen it yet, but I'm told the last thing the jury will see from the prosecution is the mother. The jury are all mothers too, I believe. The danger to Zimmerman, I think, is the jury might convict of manslaughter out of sympathy to the mother .... to throw something to her. They don't know apparently the maximum penalty for manslaughter is about the same as for murder 2.
