William: <<If I were sitting on top of this 5900' volcano, hearing the lava rumbling up inside to the 5600' level, I wouldn't be on my cellphone to my geologist asking him to declare it a sinkhole. I'd start hiking...fast Maybe the mountain won't blow, but maybe it will again. Four million shares is plenty of lava.>> Interesting analogy. It's got some holes though. By your analogy, I'm sitting on top of this 5900' volcano. Yahoo at 56 where I shorted it. You said the lava is at the 5600 level - that's 5% less than the top. If we're likening Yahoo stock to this volcano, the 5900' would be $56 1/4, and the 5600 level, Yahoo at $53 3/8. Yahoo share dollar = approximately 100 feet volcano. Now...Since I shorted at 56, or say 25 feet beneath the 5900' mark, and the close was 56 1/4, I'd actually be dead because I'd have lava or Yahoo coming out of my ears. happy seismology. scott
