Humans have had standards of right and wrong ever since they lived together in groups and families. In other words...for about 200,000 years before Allah or any other monotheistic deity was invented! Successful existence and co-existence requires certain mores. It is really not too difficult to grasp (unless you are a Fundy Nim who thumbed the "off" switch on his brain at a young age)! People have imposed standards of behavior for centuries before Zeus or El or Allah were ever invented. Without the cultivation and husbanding of successful standards, civilization (and modern humanity) could never have developed. There have ben thousands of gods. And for most of the 200,000 years of human existence, these gods have been polytheistic. "Standards" did not begin with monotheism--regardless of which god was being imagined and worshipped!

It's funny but most of the God haters on this thread only have an idea of good and bad that is based on what Christians in their family or the culture told them. They throw out whatever parts they don't want to observe like anything dealing with sexual control or cheating. But they have nothing to teach their children ... if they have them. It's probably a good thing people like them are usually so cranky and obnoxious they can't mate. Even the few that do find a desparate woman to wed are unlikely to reproduce. I wonder if any of this thread's anti-God posters have produced and raised children.
