Follow the links in that post if you want answers (which we doubt), followers of religion are as selective in what they follow as moral codes & direction as any agnostic or a~theist, it was the pagan philosophers that gave you most of the moral precepts in Christianity anyways, Paul just emulated & copied them.

Meanwhile onto a subject infinitely more interesting, the need to hunt sucessfully in a given environment,
to eat & not starve is a very powerful motivation for adaptation, the mating is just as exciting.

Nonsense, i said follow the links, now look whos not interested in gaining any fresh povs? Look at this testing for altruism & cooperation innate in both chimps & young toddlers, therefore already existing in nature, now tell us where religion informed either to behave in these "good" cooperative ways? (attaining purposeful ends)
