Hi Bill; I thought about that, and my experience with getting lost and similar things is that I never seem to have had the inclination to admit that I'm an idiot to my girl. I think most men are like this. On the few occasions where I've been forced into such a thing, I never heard the end of it.

I think Martin was basically a thug in training. Maybe the frustration of being lost contributed to his attacking Zimmerman.

P.S. Now that I'm an old man, I tell people I'm an idiot right up front. It removes all expectations of better from them. And it means they speak slowly and clearly enough that my old ears can understand what they're saying. Just telling them my hearing ain't so good doesn't seem to do it as well.
