teevee and sylvester80: Cease the Noise and cease it now ...

If you have nothing to contribute here, pack up your BlackBerry and Android soapboxes and take your overly-repetitive noise elsewhere. If you have nothing other than your opinion to post, it is not a contribution and posting an opinion repetitively on multiple SI wireless boards as both of you have done will not be tolerated should you extend the noise here.

There is a Nokia board where anything (within the ToU of SI) goes. It is not this one, and both of you already post on the alternative. Any individual that wants your perspective on Nokia can tune into you there or elsewhere and dialogue or debate with you if they think it is worthwhile to do so.

Please enjoy what is left of our 4th celebrating the day that the original colonies Second Continental Congress voted for our independence from Britain in Philadelphia 43 miles northeast of here. Four's a great number. Jean Béliveau wore it for the Habs, Bobby Orr for the Bruins. So did Vince Lecavalier for the Lightning ...

... and hopefully he'll still wear it when he joins the Flyers who can use another world class center to backup Claude Giroux since fan and locker room favorite Danny Briere is departing the City of Brotherly Love.

Prosperous investing (or trading) to both of you.

- Eric -

- Elop is making all the right moves.
- Nokia stock is moving up.
- Nokia will never sell Android.

You are wasting our time here on this thread with your whining. I'm getting tempted to move back to Eric L's thread where you sound like a slightly less broken record because you know he'll toss you if you incessantly complain about Nokia not making Android phones. You may as well complain about Nokia not making Symbian phones any longer. At least you'd have more company, and be equally incorrect.

If you followed WP sites the way you follow Android sites, you'd have a clue as to how the software gap has been closed this year. If you were a developer, you'd have a clue as to the leverage and advantages that Microsoft has, even with their relatively small current market share for phone devices, with their massive developer base and common runtime and IDE that is far in advance of all others.

Nokia stock has done well over the past year, and is primed to do much better. I can't imagine a better investment right now, considering Microsoft deep pockets, vested interest in Nokia's success and their NOT falling into the hands of a competitor or making phones for a competing ecosystem.
