What we did in the 60's when things got out of control.

We got our democracy through a revolution from England. I don't think there are textbook answers to revolutions creating democracies.

Egypt has served up a very big challenge for Obama's foreign policy. It seems to be reeling. To me the item I have bolded i n the body of this post seems very significant for Obama. Democracy does not always speak from the ballot box. It also manifest through peaceful demonstration of the masses when their representatives fail to fulfill the promises to the people within a reasonable period of time (reasonable period being determined by the people who elected them.)

This from the leading "Al Ahram" daily from Egypt which is also well respected worldwide
