What? You expect that some Arab is going to come out and thank GWB for his opportunity at freedom? Don't hold your breath.

You just cannot reasonably argue that the Arab Spring was totally unrelated to the Bush Freedom Agenda. It makes absolutely no sense, that overnight, uprisings swept through the region and it just happened to occur at this time in history -- a time which is not unusual or unique, other than the fact that Bush had set in motion by freeing Iraqis a process.

Multiple N. African countries, Iran, Syria, and now Egypt goes for the gusto.

The good news is that as all this shakes out in history, GWB will be credited properly with it; sadly, Obama will also be credited with the failures. We elected an utter incompetent at a crucial point in history. That's the real tragedy here.
