Dumb ass, read : Cyprian, Bishop of Carthage, said that the first commandment given to men was to increase and multiply, but now that the earth was full there was no need to continue this process of multiplication. At least there was one of these early philosophical pretenders (& forgers) that understood over population, they weren't very big on marriage were they? . All these copy cat pontificators wanted to be were humble eunochs for Christ & serious band of "angelics". No wonder all that superstition followed for the next 1000yrs up until the enlightment , absolute theologically "off the deep~end" crazies, like yourself.
