It was a very uneven war as any future naval war with them would be. Hope you don't live near the coast so you don't have to worry about the mighty Iranian navy shelling you.

oh geez what's with you libs, like we were gonna lose a million men fighting saddam's great army (largest in the world you libs said) in gulf war one and his red guard (or what ever they were called) were like the marines,seals,green bretes rolled into one.

then in the 2nd war we were gonna lose millions to him again.
