Now stop being a complete pretentious idiot, the kind of entractable fundy Christian that Augustine was trying to prevent making fools of themselves falling into fixed assumptions . Augustine was trying to ensure a view of a more pliant & plastic view of a breathing & living Creation, by the hand of an Omnipotent Being & Intelligent designer, which is right up your back ally, dum dum.

The beauty of his magificient contribution to the Christian church/theology/cosmology was he concieved (with help of Platonists way ahead of him) the idea that this mighty being also created time & space as distinct parts of his creation & anticipated such traps of literal scriptural failings in the face of new science 1000yrs before they happened. Quite impressive really, you do remember their finally accepting the Copernicus cosmology in the 1600s, he was way ahead of them

Still no Augustine for you?

And no, "men of science" don't study AUGUSTINE either and you wouldn't know it if they did.

Finally to respond to this idiot statement, it could make one wonder whatever cult you belong to, if you have the meetings down in dark catacombs still ? You could out do yourself and prove God exists showing us you have a brain?

Could get many links to many secular scientists & philosophers that have referrenced Augustine, Bertrand Russell springs to mind immediately (for very interesting reasons) & Carl Sagan would make two pretty well known starters. In fact Carl Sagan refers to Augustine at the very opening of the well known talks on the meaning of "time" as it relates to the physics of nature, as relates to all the motions of.

You need to really think before you post, but alas you have no interest in "thought".
