ASND has $500 Million cash, if all is used to buy back at $30/share, that's 16.7 Million shares, about 9% of the outstanding. So maybe it helps the stock a little. But with that amount of cash, they can pay 5000 pretty good engineers for a year, think they will create more value for ME (Mory Ejabat).
