Corporations are running the government for their purposes.

You exaggerate the extent that this happens, also different corporations have different purposes. But to the extent it does happen, many of the policies you support make it worse. Get government out of things and corporations have less incentive to spend money and effort to influence, and less impact if they do make that effort.

they just want to maximize their money with big tax cuts

Its reasonable for someone to not want the government to take as much of their money. It would also be beneficial for the country. Corporate tax cuts (from our current high rates) would even be beneficial for the government as it would get more revenue with lower rates.

Thinking about the current high rates (one of the highest in the world, much higher than many of those European countries you hold out as examples, they get their extra revenue largely from VAT not corporate taxes), if corporations are so much in control why are corporate rates so high?

Corporations influence isn't a general thing for "corporate interests", its a specific thing where a narrow special interest gets some special tax break, subsidy, bailout, or restraint on competition. Many of those you support, for example GM, solar companies, electric car companies, windmills, etc. If government tries to pick the winners and losers then the corporations will obviously use whatever influence they can get to try to make the government pick them as winners. You and people who agree with you are one of the biggest forces behind the expansion of corporate influence.
