This I understand and use in every chart using 8 day BB's. But since the Bollinger Bands are "elastic" they do not measure for me anything IMO. So a move up to the band is "useless" for me because the band will change tomorrow. Like I said I don't understand them- I have read Bollinger's work and I use them daily to measure volatility of trading range.
