>> Friday’s employment report wasn’t bad. But given how depressed our economy remains, we really should be adding more than 300,000 jobs a month, not fewer than 200,000.

Right. Never mind that the June jobs report showed 360,000 new part-time jobs and a net reduction of 240,000 full time jobs -- a net increase in 120K jobs, but a net DECREASE in full time employment. Right, a "glowing" jobs report.

YTD the numbers are worse. Obamacare is killing workers at these unskilled, low-paying jobs by cutting their work hours.

Just as we told you it would. And it will only get worse over the next year.

So, you go celebrate if you like. I can guarantee you these low-income individuals being slaughtered by government regulation aren't celebrating.

"Thanks to Obamacare, someone who used to work 35 hours a week for Olive Garden now works 22 hours for Olive Garden and 12 for Applebees. And Someone who worked 35 hours for Applebees now works 22 for Applebees and 12 for Olive Garden. The establishment survey sees two additional jobs created when precisely zero jobs were created.

Since this is happening en masse, I expect downward revisions in the future over Obamacare Double Counting.

The Obamcare effect is real. The distortions are complicated, numerous, and not widely understood." -- Michael Shedlock

Be sure to read the note on the chart below. Obama is the worst jobs President ever. Who knew trying to raise business's taxes, energy and healthcare costs might be bad?

allup: Fox Is America's Main Source For News

By Noel Sheppard | July 08, 2013 | 10:41

This will REALLY make liberal heads explode!

A Gallup poll released moments ago found Fox News as America's number one source of news:

Television is the main place Americans say they turn to for news about current events (55%), leading the Internet, at 21%. Nine percent say newspapers or other print publications are their main news source, followed by radio, at 6%.

And who came in first amongst television news providers?

Fox is considered the number one news source by eight percent of respondents. CNN was second at seven percent.

Meanwhile, look at ABC, MNSBC, NBC, and PBS with only one percent, and CBS below that.

As far as other media, eighteen percent of respondents said "Internet/Computer/Online (non-specific)."

Only six percent said newspapers with the New York Times getting only one percent.

Yes, eight times as many respondents declared Fox News as the main source of information as compared to the Times.

This is true of NPR which also garnered only one percent.

Liberal heads are going to spin!
