Garu, technology wise IMO Raptor is well ahead of checkpoint.

chkpt competitive advantage may have been marketing. Now if supported by proper marketing the superior product should win and I think this is where AXNT comes into the picture. IMO one of the key advantages of the merger in addition to synergies in product lines that complement each other nicely, we now have not only economies of scale innmarketing but also marketing modes that complement each other. As for Lucent, yes big intimidating name but yet to prove themselves. Actualy I wonder if their entry may give a big guy such as COMS, CSCO the incentive to jump into deal making.
