Good question Gary. I really don't have a good answer other than that with so many other 'more sexy' plays going on out there, Frontier is just quietly sitting on the sidelines. Obviously the WorldCom/MCI/GTE/BT deal occupied the limelight for quite a while (not to mention ATT/GTE & ATT/SBC & ATT/GTE/TCG & NYNEX/BellAtlantic, etc.)

With the new network and new and very solid CEO and new President of Sales, look for this organization to begin to making some waves. They are about the 10th largest LEC (based upon total number of business lines in service on a resell and CLEC basis) and they are the nation's 4th largest carrier (now that MCI/WorldCom are one).

Nation's 4th largest carrier and nobody knows who the heck they are. You've heard of Northwestern Mutual Life and their slogan "The Quiet Company".....Well here is a 99 year old $3Billion company and they're so damn quiet nobody hardly knows they're out there.

On the positive side, I think this company is an excellent 6-18 month play; especially with that sweet dividend of about 4%.
