Jay - I did not ask him about prior statements to the market, I just mentioned that people on the thread believed that Sandisk needed to improve its PR with the analysts.

I'm sure that SI members have a valid complaint. For my information,
I would like to review the statements that Dr. Harari made that have SI investors so upset.

Maintaining good relations with stock analysts is a difficult task. If you miss your numbers or the analysts expectations of what your financial results should be without providing prior warning, you get downgraded by the analysts. The objective is to meet or exceed your numbers consistently quarter by quarter. If you know something negative about a future quarter, and believe that the results will be 99%+ impacted by the negative factor, you can't hide it. For example, if you expect revenue for the quarter to be flat or not increase within your expected levels, you don't hide it and let analysts find out after you publish your numbers.
