I would consider using the format of a newsletter having picks and of course a rationale behind them.. but not so clear as to 'give away all the trade secrets' and I do have some 'heavy' hitters behind me. I have been a subscriber to publications I won't mention for obvious reasons that have given nothing in return for exorbitant fees. I've been asked to do this and it is not a 'quit your day job' kind of thing, but rather a kind of satisfaction, like the kind you get if a poem gets published or a short story gets accepted at a magazine. I feel that if you trade long enough and have a methodology that works fairly well, you have a right to acrue profit if you share this. Not unlike your idea of the book.. You should write it. People are more interested in someone with your background that's made it, than a finance professor at Harvard or a Donald Trump with a hefty inheritance. GO for it.

So do you think you can make more selling your ideas? Not really.. I'm not selling the ideas just the picks. Not a methodology. Would your stock picks be for trading or investing.. They would be for trading but... since they would be of a particular 'motif' It would have to be made clear if, indeed, some of these were for intermediate hold (3-4 months) as well.. Would you write a long research report on each, or just a few thoughts about why it will go up? Just a few thoughts...agains following the motif.. for research report I could send them to S&P reports via fax. Do you feel this is more secure? Nope, just in addition and perhaps it can grow..
