Does the person being stalked have the right or reason or cause to turn and confront his stalker.....
Answer that question yourself... how well did it work out for Martin to approach, confront and attack Zimmerman? Would it not have been much wiser for Martin to avoid the "mysterious" stranger and just take his hoodie and go home?

Hi J_F_Shepard; Re: "Does the person being stalked have the right or reason or cause to turn and confront his stalker."

Depends on the meaning of "confront".

It's perfectly legal to talk to strangers. Unfortunately, the prosecution provided zero evidence that Martin talked to Zimmerman. They didn't even provide hearsay evidence from his girlfriend.

Re: "..follower if it makes you feel better...??"

Apparently this is the liberal method of admitting you were wrong (about the definition of "stalking"), LOL.

But it's not about feelings, it's about the law. Your feelings are hurt because at a very deep level, it bothers you that guns are legal in the US and private citizens are allowed to carry them around. You think the country would be safer if we could get rid of them, and that you would be safer. This is all about feelings. Of course there is no way we can get rid of guns. Our borders are porous, they can't keep cocaine out of the country and that's a product that's used by otherwise law abiding citizens. Guns are needed by the criminal element (the ones who aren't tough enough to get what they want with knives and fists), it's not possible to get them out of the country. And so our police and military will always have guns and that means there will always be another source of them.

University of Toronto Education Professor Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Posted on | July 8, 2013 | 6 Comments and 0 Reactions

“Canadian education,” IYKWIMAITYD:

Police have arrested a University of Toronto professor and member of Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s transition team on several charges, including making child pornography.
Benjamin Levin, 61, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of distributing child pornography and one count each of making child pornography, counselling to commit an indictable offence and agreeing to or arranging for a sexual offence against a child under 16.
Levin, who is currently a professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto and is the Canada research chair in education leadership and policy, was once deputy minister of education from 2004 to 2009 under former premier Dalton McGuinty. . . .
Levin was also named to Wynne’s transition team earlier this year after she became leader of the Ontario Liberal Party in January.

The article doesn’t say whether Professor Levin is into boys or girls, but since he’s a left-wing Canadian with a master’s degree from Harvard University, I’m guessing . . . boys.

(Hat-tip: Eye on Crazy.)

UPDATE: Oh, yeah, definitely boys:

That’s from a video listed on Professor Levin’s curriculum vitae page. The title of the video: “Why a good Canadian education makes for a happier, healthier society.” IYKWIMAITYD.

UPDATE II: A global menace:

The Toronto police investigation also involved officers from the London Police Service and the Censorship and Electronic Messaging Compliance Unit Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand, according to a statement released by the Toronto police.
“It’s often the case in these types of investigations that we end up working with jurisdictions outside the country because Internet offences like this often pass through other jurisdictions,” said Detective Sergeant Kim Gross, the officer in charge of the Child Exploitation Unit at the Toronto Police Service. “So, he’s come on the radar in a few places.”

Yeah. I bet the radar isn’t all he’s come on in a few places.

Gun Control Works
Posted on July 8, 2013by stevengoddard
Chicago’s gun-free zone has had over 1,000 shootings so far this year.

The vast majority of the victims look like they could have been Obama’s son.

Apparently George Zimmerman has been a busy guy this year.

Zimmerman Defense Releases Photos from Trayvon’s Phone

George Zimmerman’s defense attorneys have released photos and text messages from 17-year-old Trayvon Martin’s cell phone ahead of a hearing that will determine whether they can be used at the neighborhood watch leader’s trial.

The photos released Thursday show Martin blowing smoke and extending his middle finger to the camera. The photos also show a gun and what appears to be a potted marijuana plant.

In the text messages, Martin tells a friend that his mother has told him he needs to move out of her house and move in with his father since he was caught skipping school.
