The same way you eliminate anything in a democracy. You call attention to the problem, and push to have it eliminated. You gain support. But you have to accept and push the idea first. If you don't even try, and no one else does, then you never get positive results.

Why aren't liberals willing to compromise? Like for instance, why can't liberals accept abortion clinics having the same standards as other surgical facilities? Why can't liberals accept civil unions instead of same sex marriage?
