The US has a history of sleeping with dogs and getting up with fleas. The US doesn't make the dogs nor the fleas. The world is full of tyrants, not of our making. We have to deal with tyrants. For instance, we deal with brutal, corrupt, backward Arab/Muslim tyrants because they control the majority of oil; or they provide us with a base for our military so that we can try to keep the world at peace or protect our allies, like Israel. How has 'sleeping' with Arab tyrants helped us with oil? As for Israel, that country needs to learn to stand on its own two feet. No more entitlement programs for Israel. I asked you: Would you rather have nuclear armed Pakistan as an enemy of the US? You responded, No. Its not an either or proposition. We provide financial and military aid to Pakistan to help to keep them stable and keep them as an ally. If we did not provide aid and maintain friendly relations, there would be increased probability for them to become an unstable, nuclear armed enemy of the US. You seem to be having problems grasping this Uh.......they hid bin Laden. They are an unstable, nuclear armed frenenemy of the US. Can't see how they are helping us much.
