SMART MEDIA CARD DESCRIPTION Smart Media cards are super smal, superthin, non-volatile memory cards designed for use in digital cameras, game machines, PDA, Organizers and video recorders. The cards use NAND type Flash technology with low power consumption. They produce video frames at 60 frames/sec 320 x 240 pixels or 30 frames/sec 640 x 480 pixels. Memory sizes are available from 2M to 4M bytes. The Smart Media Adaptor provides the ATA controller for the Smart Media cards. The Adaptor fits into a PC Card (PCMCIA} socket to permit the storge digital pictures or data to be further processed and enhanced.
