The Canon MG5250 is often on sale and is an inexpensive wireless printer. It works like a trooper, very good quality prints and photographs. I print stuff on it directly from smart phones too.

The USA model number will probably be slightly different. This looks close. 5 ink tanks, wireless, and includes a scanner.

I have seen them on sale sometimes for half the normal price or less in supermarkets.

The ink is the killer for cost. This is why I use a reservoir system.

I buy bulk ink on ebay for less than $3 per 100 ml. Supposedly the ink quality can effect printer life and print quality. One day that might happen I suppose, and I just order another printer. However I have printed out many thousands of pages of printed matter and photographs and no problems so far.

It's an amazing little machine.
