Those were all conservative democrats called Dixiecrats.

Not a single liberal anywhere.

There was a huge difference between conservative Dixiecrats and liberal Democrats.

They had opposite philosophies.

When has the south ever had a bunch of liberals?

Never!

For you to try and revise history is deplorable, but to also seem to know how horrible it was and not recognize the true case of that history, is worse.
