Tommaso: RE: Your request about Abelson's comments in Barrons: The ever sarcastic and (like me, wrongly so far) bearish Mr. Abelson presents a tongue-in-cheek recommendation to replace currency with stocks. Stocks are, after all worth 20% more than the total value of our goods and services. We should also buy shares in our congressmen as a means of campaign finance reform. While currencies may go up and down, stocks, as we all know, can only go up. Mr. Abelson may be getting bitter. I understand. Jack
