Would you believe I took my old HP 4P into the recycling depot? But the toner cartage was 130 bucks. It still worked fine, but was only 4 pages per minute. At the time I needed a faster printer, so I bought a HP 1020. 20 pages per minute. Problem with the old HP it was a parallel printer cable that none of my new computers had. Could have bought a conversion cable, but I felt it was time to retire that old printer. Now will my HP 1020 last 18 years like my old one? The HP 4P cost 1200.00 bucks The HP 1020 was 120.00 bucks.
