Tom, the problem is, I'm starting to get a little tired of those who DON'T have cable modems posting references to the "problems" and "challenges" of cable modems. It's here, I love it, it will be very big (and the stock market anticipates, something some on this thread have forgotten) and it has yet to "go down." The technician who did my install does nothing else and is all of maybe 25 years old and just bought a beautiful new house in Sarasota County which ranks first in Florida in average sale price of new homes. Wherever you have high per capita incomes you will see rollout of cable modem service very quickly. And by the way, thanks to Martin for reminding us that COMS is not a one-trick pony. Beachbumm
