Snopes is a reliably liberal source. It is tragic that this court proceeding has turned into a left vs. right issue. To a large degree, as a result of the president's incompetent wading into an issue that he had no business commenting on. Which he has done on numerous occasions. Courts of law should be about finding the truth, but the prosecutors in this case are not the slightest bit interested in the truth. They want a conviction. The truth be damned. They want Zimmerman behind bars, regardless of whether it was self-defense. And in the process they have whipped up the black community into a frenzy.
